  1. General information
  2. This appendix is an integral part of the company regulations / employment contract and contains the employer's legal information obligations regarding its handling of all personal data of employees as well as all personal data originating from recruitment shoots.

  3. Purpose and legal basis

    • In order to check the suitability of the candidate for employment, the employer reserves the right to obtain references, extracts from the debt collection register and, under certain circumstances, an extract from the criminal record after consultation with the employee.
    • For the execution of the employment contract, the relevant personal data is kept for personnel administration and payroll accounting. The personnel administration can be managed by a third party in Switzerland. The personal data relating to your employment relationship is stored centrally in Switzerland by the employer or by affiliated companies of the employer and processed by them.
    • To optimize the provision of services by the employer to its customers, in particular with the use of monitoring and control systems in company vehicles for scheduling, especially spontaneous assignments, shortening waiting times, route optimization.
    • To fulfill its legal obligations or those contractually agreed with the customer, such as proof of rest and working hours, proof of the cold chain for medicines or foodstuffs, proof of the transport route and accountability to customers.
    • For safety reasons for quick location for assistance in case of breakdowns, accidents and theft to protect the driver, vehicle and transported goods.
    • To congratulate and advertise employee anniversaries, birthdays, training graduations and the like on company bulletin boards or screens only.

    The processing is carried out on the legal basis of the employment contract, on the consent for the cross-border processing of the special categories of personal data and on the basis of the overriding interest of the employer regarding security, optimization of service provision and the fulfillment of its legal and contractual obligations.

  4. Data categories

  5. Disclosure
  6. No data will be disclosed to third parties, except for the purposes listed under item 2), unless the employee expressly consents to this or the employer has another justification reason. The disclosure is made to external service providers as well as to affiliated companies.


  7. Data security
  8. The employer processes employee personal data carefully and stores it securely in Switzerland. Personal data is protected against data loss, theft and modification by technical and organizational measures and is only processed in countries with an equivalent level of data protection. Access to data is only granted on a need-to-know basis.

  9. Right of withdrawal
  10. Where consent to the processing of special categories of personal data is necessary, in particular because there is no other justification, it may be revoked by the employee at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the data processing carried out until your consent is revoked.

  11. Right of information, correction and deletion
  12. The employee has the right to obtain information about the processing of his/her data, to have it corrected and deleted, and to restrict the processing of data.

  13. Archiving and storage
  14. The employer retains employee data after termination of the employment relationship for no longer than the duration of the statutory retention obligation - 10 years. Application documents of applicants without an employment relationship are deleted and/or destroyed after 6 months. Data that is no longer necessary and for which there is no legal obligation to retain it will be destroyed once the purpose and justification for doing so have ceased to exist. Records related to vehicles may be anonymized by the employer and kept indefinitely.
